Title: Beauty of Nature

For those who exalt they will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. – Matthew 23:12 

The beauty of the Upper Peninsula reminds me of the magnificence of God. Its beauty is for enjoyment, but its purpose is to draw us ultimately to the Creator. Job 12 tells us that creation teaches us the power of the hand of God. Psalm 145 calls us to meditate on things God has done in creation. Psalm 19 reminds us that the skies display the craftsmanship of God. When nature takes my breath away, it’s God getting my attention. It’s one way he found to communicate with me, reminds me He is here. In my life, nature has led me to worship God more than anything else.

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
