Title: Humble serve
“Those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” Matthew 23:12
Jesus said, “Everything they do is done for people to see.” Getting caught up in this way of thinking can be effortless, and I admit it feels good to be elevated.
However, God calls on us to serve other people, so to humble ourselves is to have a servant’s heart, even when it’s difficult. This means not being selfish but being humble by thinking of others first.
So as we go into our week, who can we humbly serve?
