Everyday life is filled with demands. Lists grab our attention, and, at times, it feels as if we are being pulled in every direction. Even our breaks, lunch hours, and evenings are filled with screens competing for our attention. These are supposed to be times of rest. Aside from sleeping, we seldom get the time to quiet everything and just rest.
Today, get away from everything for 10 minutes. Turn it all off! Concentrate on resting in the Holy Spirit. His yoke is easy, and His burden is light. Give your cares to God, and He will give you His rest.
