Title: He has risen
Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. – 1 Corinthians 15:58
Work of the Lord, what does that even mean? Working for the Lord and His will helps us stand firm through life’s ups and downs. But what is the work of the Lord? A close friend of mine said the Lord’s work is different for all of us, and it’s a wide range of work. He told me if I was unsure of what I was to be doing, I just needed to ask Him, listen, and obey.
The life Jesus lead here on earth was the work God called him to do. What an example of obedience. He died for us, His work was all for us, to wipe our sins away and defeat death. Today we celebrate His resurrection, He has risen.
So the question is, has God asked you to do anything specifically in any part of your life? If not, just ask.
