Title: Made to Worship
Offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship. – Romans 12:1b
Ok, it’s been a tough week already. Work stinks, the car breaks down, and you’ve fought with your wife. You begin to hear the whispers of the enemy, and you begin to listen. You try everything you know, but nothing works; things worsen.
This is the time for worship. What!! But it’s not Sunday. I know, but worship is a way of life, not just something we do one day a week. The Israelites put the choir in front of the army and won the day. Try it. What do you have to lose? In a word, nothing. Guys, we were made to worship, so get into the word, put some music on in the car, praise Him at the top of your voice, and ignore the world and exalt Him. The word of God is clear on this matter when it says when we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us, and you know who won’t stick around for long.
Real men fuel up by worshiping all the time.
