Sunday // Sacrifice :: Acknowledge

Title: God above all things

Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. – Matthew 10:32
Wow, a simple statement from Jesus in the book of Matthew, acknowledge me before men, and at the time of judgement, I will acknowledge you before my Father. This request is understood in both words and actions, even in the face of confrontation. There is not much more to say on this right, then why is this a challenge for us? Why did Peter deny Jesus 3 times? This call to action is for us to make this public decoration to our Family, friends, church community, and people we meet. When was the last time you had the opportunity to share the Man Card with a stranger?

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
