Title: Beauty of Nature

For those who exalt they will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. – Matthew 23:12 

The Upper Peninsula’s beauty always makes me think of how amazing God is. I enjoy the scenery, but I also believe it’s meant to point us back to the Creator. Job 12 says creation shows God’s power. Psalm 145 encourages us to reflect on what God has done in the world. Psalm 19 says the skies show God’s skill. When I’m moved by nature, I feel like God is reaching out to me. It’s his way of reminding me he’s present. For me, nothing has led me to worship God more than being in nature.

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
