Sunday // Sacrifice :: Exalt

Title: Humble serve

“Those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” Matthew 23:12

Jesus said, “Everything they do is done for people to see,” when talking about the religious leaders. It’s easy to fall into this mindset, and I have to admit, it feels good to be noticed.

But God asks us to serve others, so being humble means having a servant’s heart, even when it’s hard. It means putting others before ourselves instead of being selfish.

As we start this week, let’s think about who we can serve with humility. Be the silent servant.

Real Men Humble serve.
