Sunday // Sacrifice :: Exalt

Title: UP North

For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. Matthew 23:12

I tell you all, whenever I am here at my cabin in the Upper Peninsula, reflections, thanks, and praise are on my mind.  I love this land, and I am grateful to be part of it. I use all my senses to see it, smell it, touch it, and taste the harvest from it.

This land has been handed down to me by my father-in-law and his family. I want my friends and family to experience the same feelings. I want them to experience it the way I do, so they can share in the praise and give thanks to the Lord who creates such beauty.

This land sets the stage to give thanks and praise for all I have and all that I am. I pray for people to find their place of peace, reflect, give thanks and appreciation, and share the joy.

” Sing to Him, sing praise to Him, tell of all his wondrous works” 1 Chronicles 16:9

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
