Title: Rest in all seasons

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. – Mat 11:28

The colors of fall show us God’s majesty and amazing creations. Spiritually, fall is a time for letting go of our burdens, releasing them to God, as quoted in Matthew 11:28. As the wilderness transforms to winter, there are no words to describe the forest covered in snow, the quiet stillness that snow-covered trees bring. Winter is a time we reflect on our spiritual growth, a time to examine our hearts and our purpose in God’s plan, allowing God to make changes in us. As we witness the seasons each year, we must remember we also live through seasons of change in our own lives. Seasons of sadness, loss, joy, newness, and spiritual growth.

Real Men rest with God as part of the seasons.

Bill Reilly

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
