Title: Deep Comfort

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. – Mat 11:28

Matthew 11:28 offers us real comfort. God promises to give us rest. Who is this promise for? The verse says it’s for everyone who feels tired and weighed down. We all have times when we feel this way, so this promise is for all of us. You might wonder if there’s a catch, since things that sound too good often come with conditions. But here, there’s nothing hidden. God simply asks us to come to Him. That’s all. So, take a moment now to bring your burdens to Him and let go of the weight you’ve been carrying.

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
