Title: Deep Rest

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. – Matthew 11:28

Some men are tired and do not even know how to admit it.

We call it being responsible. We call it providing. We call it grinding. We call it doing what has to be done. And sometimes that is true.

But sometimes we are just worn out.

Matthew 11:28 is an invitation from Jesus: “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

That kind of rest is deeper than sleep. It is deeper than a day off. It is the rest that comes when a man stops carrying the weight of life alone.

Many of us know how to work for God, serve others, lead our families, and handle responsibilities. But we are not always good at coming to Jesus with our own weariness.

We keep moving. Keep producing. Keep solving. Keep hiding how heavy it feels.

But Jesus does not shame tired men. He invites them. Any good trainer knows that rest and recovery days are just as important as training days.

Rest is trust. It is a way of saying, “God, I am not the source. You are.”

Real men do not prove their strength by running empty. Real men come to Jesus and receive the rest only He can give — rest for the soul.
