Title: Stand Up

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. – 1 Corinthians 15:58

Standing firm in the faith humbles us before the Lord. It sets our minds to a greater understanding of heavenly wisdom. Humbling means we must let God be God, admit our human limitations, and acknowledge God’s sovereignty, infinite wisdom, and almighty power. As Christians, Standing firm in our faith when tested with temptations of daily human things will lead us away from being God-focused. We must also take a stand when bringing others to Jesus, as we are called to do.

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
