Title: Smell the roses
Offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship. – Romans 12:1b
Psalm 19:1
You have heard the saying stop and smell the roses, yet how often have we brushed by so many of God’s wonderful creations without pausing for even a moment to appreciate them? We fail even to hear the birds, observe the wildlife, and notice the color changing of the leaves. I experience this each time I visit my UP Cabin. For me, it’s a place to pause and thank God for all his creations.
I look forward to this every year.  But we should be pausing daily to worship His creation.
Real men take time to smell the roses.

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
