Title: Put Jesus First
Offer your bodies as the living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God- this is your spiritual act of worship – Romans 12:1b
There are several forms of worship, including giving back to God. I know giving is a subject that is hard for pastors to present or even hard for us to understand the why, but God asks for it. Everything on this earth is His, so why should we give if it is His already? It’s because it’s obedience and a form of worship.
We need to recognize that all we are and all we have come from the Lord. We should give Him our best. When we put Him first in terms of our money and time, He blesses all the rest. When we cease to put Him first, things don’t prosper in our lives as they should. Trust me when I say I don’t prosper when I don’t put Jesus first.
