Title: Worship for He has Risen
 
Offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship. – Romans 12:1b
 
What a day for Jesus. Jesus was arrested. Jesus was tried, unfairly convicted by a crowd, and beaten by a group of Roman soldiers. A crown of thorns was attached to His head, and He was made to carry a heavy wooden cross for 30 minutes (1/2 mile). Mocked and spit on by the crowd who watched, then nailed to this cross, and stabbed with a spear. Stripped of clothing and left hanging till dead.
 
Oh, and He asked his father to forgive them.
 
All that for us. Today, we worship that Christ has risen. He has risen indeed. Death has been defeated, the guilt of past sins is cleansed, and our future is secure.

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
