For the battle is not yours, but God’s – 2 Chronicles 20:15c
 
Ready for Battle? What does the Bible say about preparing us? Where is the enemy? Let’s start with the enemy is everywhere. This is not just about army against army. It’s a battle against our unpure thoughts, TV, radio, jobs, and sometimes friends and acquaintances. It’s a battle against earthly things we possess—anything and anybody that is a distraction. We must learn whatever we do, in word or deed, to do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Then and only then will we be equipped for Battle. Don’t just start and end your day in scripture; it must be in everything we do.

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
