For the battle is not yours, but God’s – 2 Chronicles 20:15c
Men, the threat of Satan and his plans to separate us from God are real. He is constantly trying to get us to do battle with our own human methods and strength. We are no match for his schemes and temptations if he succeeds in his efforts.
Today’s verse is a statement to trust God, not a recommendation. The battle is His. He fights and defeats Satan and his lies on our behalf. We have to have faith.
When tempted to act independently, we need to make a simple statement. ” Not Today Satan”
Real Men: Let God Battle on their behalf.
