Title: Choose the Right Weapon.

For the battle is not yours, but God’s – 2 Chronicles 20:15c

Men, are we ready for Battle? When I read this verse, I can’t help but relate to the most current events worldwide: Israel and the Middle East, Ukraine Vs. Russia. But what does the Bible say about these events and preparing us for Battle when the enemy strikes?

What we face in Battle is not an army against an army. It’s a battle against Satan and the unpure thoughts we face through TV, Radio, Jobs, politics, and sometimes friends and acquaintances. It is hard to know what is truth or what is Satan’s ploy.

Men, we must trust in the word and not the news. Only then will we be equipped for battles such as this. Scripture must be in everything we do.   

Real Men prepare for Battle every day.

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
