Title: Don’t Get Separated
For the battle is not yours, but God’s. – 2 Chronicles 20:15c
The most significant part of spiritual warfare is acknowledging that Satan’s goal is to separate us from God. Satan tries to get us to fight this battle alone; if we try to do this alone, we are at a disadvantage, and the separation begins.
Here are a few questions you can ask yourselves to determine whether you are at risk of trying to battle alone.
1. Do you carry hidden sin?
2. Do you have another warrior in your life that you can be honest and truthful with?
3. When you fall into intentional sin, can you open up and confess to a fellow warrior?
If you are not sure about the questions listed above, then you can become the perfect prey that will allow Satan to separate you from God. Find that warrior you can open up with and be authentic when you confess this is a hard blow to the enemy.
