Title: Face your fears
Be strong in The Lord and the power of his might. – Ephesians 6:10
I think of courage, to think not of the soldier who charged up a mountain but of men in scripture. Moses faced his fears, responding to God’s call to return to Egypt. He was motivated by God’s vision, working through him to save his people. David took courage to fight Goliath. His disdain for Goliath’s defiance against God and his people inspired him. Daniel stood on his conviction to pray to God, despite the consequence of being thrown into a lion’s den. He was motivated to face this fear because he was grateful for all God’s blessings. Or how about Jesus’s courage to plan his last super and give specific instructions to his disciples?
