Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. – Ephesians 6:10
What adversity are you facing today? Marriage and family issues? Work? Health? You are not alone. God is with you. And he is powerful.
David defeated Goliath by standing up in the face of adversity. He had confidence because he knew God was with him. The king wanted him to rely on physical armor, but David knew that the king’s armor wouldn’t give him an edge in the battle. David’s advantage came from his relationship with God!
In the same way, as you face adversity this week, remember that your edge comes from the Almighty, the powerful creator of the universe. He is on your side, and He is with you!
Real men rely on the power of God.
