Title: Fear Not
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. – Ephesians 6:10
Be strong in the Lord. The night Jesus was arrested, He had just returned from the Mount of Olives from praying to the Father. Jesus knew what he was about to face, and the scripture says He was in anguish and even sweating droplets of blood. He asked, “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me.” Like the verse today, being strong in the Lord, He accepted what He was called to do, and an “angel appeared to him and strengthened him.”
I read that in the Bible, the words “fear not” are used over 200 times. Fear will happen. Jesus was in fear. Like Jesus, if we are obedient to God’s will, He will provide the strength and the courage we need to face anything.
