Title: Face Your Fears

Be strong in The Lord and the power of his might. – Ephesians 6:10

I think of courage, to think not of the soldier who charged up a mountain but of men in scripture. Moses faced his fears, responding to God’s call to return to Egypt. He was motivated by God’s vision, working through him to save his people. David took courage to fight Goliath. His disdain for Goliath’s defiance against God and his people inspired him. Daniel stood on his conviction to pray to God despite the consequence of being thrown into a lion’s den. He was motivated to face this fear because he was grateful for all God’s blessings. Or how about Jesus’s courage to plan his last super and give specific instructions to his disciples?

What fears are you ready to face with God leading the charge?

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
