Title: Represent God’s Character
“Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.” – Psalm 82:3
The saying, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing,” comes to mind upon studying the above verse, especially in its context. God is calling out those who have been granted the responsibility to uphold justice and have failed to do so.
Many of us do not hold the literal office of a judge, officer, or political representative; we are required to represent God’s character in the face of oppression, injustice, and exploitation.
Bottom Line: God doesn’t like people getting picked on, nor should we.
Real Men take a stand against evil.
