Title: Helping others
Defend the cause of the weak and the fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. – Psalm 82:3
Ask yourself this tough question: “As a Christian, who or what do you spend most of your time defending God? Jesus? The Bible?”
Sometimes, I wonder if we get too caught up in debates and issues. What about the people who need help? What about those who don’t have their parents? What about the homeless?
Here are a few things you could do:
- Volunteer at a soup kitchen.
- Donate clothes to a clothing closet.
- Buy a meal for someone in need.
- Help out in an afterschool program or give money to a charity.
Pick one of these things and go for it! You might be surprised at how much you can get out of helping others!
