You will succumb in every battle if you know neither the enemy nor yourself.” Sun Tzu, The Art of WarTragically, a recent Barna survey revealed that nearly six out of ten American Christians do not believe that Satan is a real being. So what does that say about the chances of winning the war against evil? It says we are going to lose. How can you win a war when you don’t acknowledge the existence of your enemy? You can’t. Satan is real, and he wants to destroy your earthly and eternal life. We are at war. We have an enemy.
