Movies about battle capture our attention; why? Because it looks exciting and tough, just what guys like. When we watch the movie we can picture ourselves reacting, strategizing and responding to the heat of the battle, that moment of fight or retreat.
Men, every day is a spiritual battle, are we going to fight or retreat? We have been given the weapons and the armor to fight and God has called us into battle. Knowing that God has given us every weapon we would need to battle should give us courage to engage. This means praying, reading and learning to use the sword, and trusting God has our backs in battle. We need to fight not retreat because victory through Christ is definite.
