Title: More Than Fighting
Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. Ephesians 6:11
Confession time: I struggle to identify with the imagery of warriors and weapons. The zombie apocalypse is the only need I can come up with for weapons. The likelihood of that happening is slim, so I am left with nothing! But as much as we get caught up in the images of weapons, we can still use our brain, passion, creativity, and drive as weapons.
Let us not get carried away with weapons that are just tools we use, but let us use things that can have just as much power, if not more, by the words we use and how we stand up for others. Being a warrior is so much more than fighting; it’s fighting for the vulnerable and stepping into the misery and margins.=
Real men battle with more than just weapons.
