Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. – Ephesians 6:10
I think this is the right word to focus on for today. The world is frightened, not knowing what the immediate future holds. The stability of our ordinary life is gone, and that can be very scary. But courage is leadership. We must have the direction to face the future and the unknowns. Showing courage in this difficult time is not easy, but we have a big God. We will not have all the answers, we will second guess ourselves, and we will ride a roller coaster of emotions over the next several weeks and months, but I am confident that we will all have the courage and the strength that God promises. In today’s verse tells that, through God’s power, we will have what it takes to lead our families and those around us through times of trials. We need to have the courage to ask and listen.
Real men ask for courage.
