David stepped up to a giant with no hesitation, and with faith and trust in God, he let the round stone fly. Like David, we face our giants, but do we have the confidence and trust that David did?
So how do we become strong in the Lord? It helps to process that mastering the fear takes courage and realizing the fear can be a thief, and it can take a lot out of us and make us easy prey for Satan.
Here are a few ideas to build our courage and become courageous:
- Courage comes from having a deep relationship with God.
- Courage comes from walking in obedience to what God asks of us
- Courage comes from associating with people who are committed to the first two points.
So be strong in the Lord and face your giants.
