Title: Stand Firm in the Word


Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. – Ephesians 6:11


When we think of weapons, we feel  BIGGER, BADDER and more POWERFUL is the recipe for sure victory, not so. Look at the text again; see the word “stand”? One of the greatest weapons we have is our foothold which only God’s Word and Wisdom can provide, and only through God can we stand against the “schemes.” Yes “schemes” as in more than one, Satan is relentless and will not stop. So our weapons training is a daily training in God’s word and prayer that will give us the foothold to stand against our enemy.

Scott, Kellie, Cole and Elissa Mitchell have live in Fishers, IN. Scott currently works for Marriott Hotels as a Director of Engineering. For the past 16 years, Scott has taken on active role in Men’s Ministry, by leading a weekly Bible study, and assisting with the youth in many capacities. Scott’s other interest include playing bass guitar, hunting, fishing,golf and making homemade beer and wine.
