Title: The Character of a Warrior
For the battle is not yours, but God’s. – 2 Chronicles 20:15c
When I think of a warrior, I often think of the typical images, weapons, armor, grunting, etc. But there is so much more to being a warrior than just weapons and armor. We can be a warrior in the way we approach just about anything, a laundry warrior, dish warrior, landscape warrior, or the classic weekend warrior.
Let us not just get caught up in the image of a warrior, but in the character of a warrior: strong, decisive, calculated, and controlled. The more we can examine the character of a warrior, the more we can apply it in various ways and situations. The core is who we are and who God is forming. Let us battle with the essence of who we are.
Real men battle for the Lord.
