Title: Fear Not
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. – Ephesians 6:10
An image of a giant colorful ball in New York City’s Times Square may come to mind for many when thinking about New Year’s Eve, but for others across the country, ringing in the new year looks a little different. 2025 was an excellent year for some, and for others, it could have been a not-so-great year for various reasons.
2026 is here, and fear of what the year could be like can consume our thinking. The future may look scary, and fear of the unknown sets in. God did not design us to live in fear, but He did give us comfort for dealing with anxiety. Courage! The words “fear not” appear over 200 times in the Bible. Fear will happen. Jesus was in fear. Like Jesus, if we are obedient to God’s will, He will provide the strength and the courage we need to face anything.
