Title: Give God the Weight
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Eph 6:10
As a kid, I liked hanging out with my Grandpa in his blacksmith shop. He would let me “help him” sometimes. I remember him having me help carry a big, round bar of steel about five feet long. He got in the middle, and I got on one end, and I mostly just held on to the bar while he took the bulk of the weight himself. But I felt strong!
That’s kind of what Eph 6:10 says to me. I’m only strong because of Jesus.
