Title: Know the threat
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. – Ephesians 6:12
I once listened to a sermon online where the teacher talked about a tactic of Satan that we should watch out for. Satan tries to convince us that when we give in to our desires, there will be no consequences. He tells us nothing will happen, and if something does, it is already too late to do anything about it.
We need to be honest with ourselves and ask God to help us in this struggle. So we can ask for prayer and guidance with humility. We should pray for God to show us these kinds of threats and be willing to listen.
Knowing our enemy and how he works is important for facing this battle.
