Ephesians 6:11 “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can stand against the devil’s schemes.”
The next time you face an emergency, you need to know that the average time for police to respond is 10 minutes, which may be longer in these times. That is a long time to wait for help when your life is on the line. The next time you are facing a spiritual emergency, what is the response time of your pastor or priest? I have no statistics, but it is probably longer than 10 minutes. The point is that when you face temptation, you must be equipped to deal with that threat immediately. God has provided armor, but you need to put it on because the enemy is looking for those who are ill-prepared and ill-equipped to take it down. God’s armor isn’t helpful if it is home in the closet. It only works if you have put it on.
