Title: Stand Firm in the Word
Put on the whole armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. – Ephesians 6:11
When we think of weapons, we feel BIGGER, BADDER, and MORE POWERFUL, which is the recipe for victory, but not so. Look at the text again; see the word “stand”? One of our greatest weapons is our foothold, which only God’s Word and Wisdom can provide, and only through God can we stand against the “schemes.” Yes, “schemes” as in more than one, Satan is relentless and will not stop. So our weapons training is a daily training in God’s word and prayer that will give us the foothold to stand against our enemy.
Real Men use God to stand against the enemy.
