Title: True weapons

Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. – Ephesians 6:11

When thinking of weapons, we think of a deer rifle, maybe handguns, or military weapons. The Evil and the spiritual battles we face as Christian men, none of those earthly weapons are effective. Seek to learn, “fastened on the belt of truth,”  “Putting on the breastplate of righteousness,” “Shoes for your feet, put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace,” “ In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, which can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one” “Take the helmet of salvation” “The sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”  Could you put it on every day?

For effectiveness, we seek to understand Ephesians 6:11-18 fully

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
