Title: Purposely Focus
Be still and know that I am God, I will be exalted among the nations, and I will be exalted in the earth. – Psalm 46:10
The art of listening is one of the toughest things to do. I catch myself looking at people speaking but my mind is not focused on them or what they are saying. I am coming up with a fix or a solution for what they are saying, even before they’ve finished talking
And I do this with God. He speaks and my mind is somewhere else…or on myself. I try and fix my own problems without His help. I think I have a better and easier way of doing things. Like the verse says “be still” that means we need to slow down and purposely focus on what God is telling us, He is just wants to help .
Real Men are Slow to Speak and Quick to Listen.
