Title: Don’t Miss it

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” – Psalm 46:10a

“Be still”? That is not in my vocabulary. As men, with our crazy lives, trying to juggle work, family, friends, church and trying to make time for ourselves…we miss it. We miss the opportunities that God gives us to know that He is God.

God tells us that we can know Him if we take the time to be still and listen. As men who feel we have the world on our shoulders most days, we can experience God everyday and exalt Him so that we don’t try and exalt ourselves.

What keeps you from taking time to be still and listen to the Creator, the One who will be exalted?

Real Men take time to be STILL.

Scott, Kellie, Cole and Elissa Mitchell have live in Fishers, IN. Scott currently works for Marriott Hotels as a Director of Engineering. For the past 16 years, Scott has taken on active role in Men’s Ministry, by leading a weekly Bible study, and assisting with the youth in many capacities. Scott’s other interest include playing bass guitar, hunting, fishing,golf and making homemade beer and wine.
