Psalm 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God, I will be exalted among the nations, and I will be exalted in the earth.”
I love deer hunting because I have to be still and there is a silence in the woods where I find a place for God and me to talk. Those who don’t hunt can’t imagine spending hours in the woods being still and silent, but I can’t wait for hunting season for those very reasons. Do you have a place where you can be still and silent so that God can be heard? When was the last time you escaped the noise of life and went to a still place to meet with God? Maybe for you it is a room in your house, the garage, a park, or your yard. If you don’t have one, find one because God is waiting for you.
