Title: Listen UP
He says, Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. – Psalm 46:10a
My wife was recently talking to me, and after my third attempt to enter into the conversation, I heard the Spirit say to me, “just listen-then encourage, don’t fix!” What she was really saying had nothing to do with her words and I would have missed it altogether. Typically, I would have responded in my flesh and suggested lots of ways to fix things, never “hearing” what she said. I know we often think the weakest part of our walk is spending time in the Word or in our prayer life, but for a lot of us, it is our ability to listen for Him. Today, for a moment, “be still,” know He is God and look for the Spirit to guide you.
