Title:  Hearing God’s Voice


He says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. –  Romans 12:1b


Listen, they say, two ears and one mouth. More importantly, this is the meaning of hearing vs listening. Learning to listen to God vs. your voice. Think of two simple phrases, “I will pray for that man,” or “ Did you see what he did, that was stupid “  Men, not all the time does it sound clear, the word from God. As Men, we must know he will only speak to us of things that draw us nearer to him. We have to recognize that. We do not all get a divine intervention like a burning bush on a mountain. God will speak to you in a manner you will listen. 

 Real Men learn to Listen.

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
