Title: In the Stillness

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” – Psalm 46:10a

The times when we need to be reminded that God is God and still in control are usually the times it is unreasonable to be still.

And God often calls men to be unreasonable.

In the stillness, we are reminded that God will be exalted, and all of the craziness will one day work its way to bringing glory and honor to Him. Being still now is a reminder of how all things, one day, will be still in His presence.

Real men can find moments to be still.

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
