I love disaster movies. I think it’s all the special effects. There’s almost always that one part in the film when a group of people hear about some impending doom or maybe even see it coming. The crowd stirs, and you can feel them begin to head into a panicked stampede. Then there’s always the one person who stands up with his arms out and says, “Hey! Everyone calm down!”
When life is going crazy, and I’m feeling anxious, I can look to this verse. It’s like that guy standing up with his arms stretched out. I can still chill out and know that God is with me. He has my back. The disaster may come, but God is with me.
Real Men know God is with them.
