Title: Don’t run empty on prayer

…pray continually – 1 Thess 5:17

I was on the side of the road, feeling helpless because I neglected to respond to the bright light on my dash telling me to refuel. It was hopefully the first and last time I run out of gas. Without gas in a car, it’s a shell, a fancy shelter, but with gas, a car gets us where we need to go. I see this as similar to prayer.

We can live our daily lives without prayer, but with prayer, we connect with God and get the fuel we need to persevere and push through. Let us be men who pray without ceasing in all that we do.

Real men pray
