Title: Don’t go empty
Pray Continually. – 1 Thessalonians 5:17
What do most of us do as men when our gas light comes on? We keep pushing the limits to see how far we can go. For example, when our gas light comes on, we typically only think about praying when we are in a crisis and great need, pushing the limits, and going as far as we can without help.
However, the context of this verse gives us a different description of prayer: Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances… – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Today, I encourage you to be prayed up and not wait until you are on empty to turn to God. Always be full and constantly tell Him what you are thankful for.
