Title: Listen for the Spirit


So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. – Galatians 5:16

Each year in November, many other Michigan hunters and I sit in deer camp anxiously awaiting the opening day, like a child on Christmas Eve. Will this be the year I take a big buck.

Do any of us get that same feeling, that excitement of what God has in store for us? 2020 has been a crazy year, and I wonder what God has planned for me. Daily I call on the Spirit to reveal his plan. I listen for the Spirit in worship, in scripture, and in blogs to seek and understand.

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
