Title: Spirit or Flesh
So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. – Galatians 5:16
Oil and water. Similar poles of a magnet. Light and darkness. The natural laws in physics teach us that some things are just not designed to “coexist.” They oppose. They resist. They repel and dispel.
As in the physical, so in the spiritual. Walking by the Spirit means allowing God’s power and presence to permeate our thoughts, our actions, our words, our calendars, our bank accounts, our “to-do” lists, and our priorities in life. Gratifying the desires of the flesh means just the opposite.
Choose one thing today; the Spirit of God is leading you to do and do it. I’ll bet you it won’t satisfy the desire of your flesh…and I’ll bet you you won’t be the least bit disappointed!
Real Men choose the Spirit over the flesh.
